The draw will be made via a random draw, and conducted by a third party.

By entering the competition you agree to us using to name to announce you as winner.

Your odds of winning are dependent on the number of total entries.

Quiz Nights

We host quiz nights on a regular basis.

Entry to the quiz night usually requires the purchase of a seat, the cost of which will usually include entry to the quiz as well as a meal or drinks.  The details of the cost of each quiz night and what is included can be found on the website.

Players will compete as teams.  The teams will will normally be based on bookings. I.E if a booking was made for a table of four, those four guests will make up one team.  On the night the quiz host may split larger tables into multiple teams in order to keep the quiz fair.  In some cases the host may allocate you to a team, i.e. at a Harry Potter quiz you might be allocated to a Hogwarts House and compete for that house.

The winners on the night will be selected by the quiz host based on the scoring system for each individual quiz.  In most cases this is who got the most answers correct.  Sometimes some quizzes or rounds in quizzes are subjective, for example, the best drawing, the funniest team name, points for these rounds/quizzes are awarded at the quiz hosts discretion.

As the quiz host is a third party and not an employee of The Twisted Tree, employees are allowed to enter as long as they have paid the same entry fee as everyone else.  In the event of an employee winning a prize, we will increase the number of prizes available on the night to compensate.

Prizes differ for each quiz night, but always include a voucher for rustic afternoon tea for two.

Any other competition rules can be clarified with the quiz host on the night.

Murder Mystery Nights

On occasion we host Murder Mystery nights.

Entry to these nights will require the purchasing of a seat, the price of which will be advertised along with the event.  The price will usually include the cost of the murder mystery and food, please check the advert for each to event for details of what is included.

The event will be hosted by a third party, therefore employees of The Twisted Tree are allowed to enter.  Should an employee win a prize on the night then we will increase the prize pool to compensate.  Participants must be 18 years or over, exception may be made by special request.

Some of the results of a murder mystery are subjective, and voted for by the guests, such as the best dressed, the best actor.  Whilst others are best on being able to identify the murder, or earning the most money.  Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of the host.
